Full Mouth Reconstruction

Full Mouth Reconstruction

This case is a full mouth reconstruction due to a poor bite and failing Porcelain fused to metal restorations. The patient experienced jaw pain due to an improper bite. If you notice his bite was open to his proper physiologic position where he was comfortable.

The restorations are all ceramic and contain no metal and are very natural looking. Prior to restoring him, we verified his bite position using advanced technology which measured his EMG’s to make sure his muscles were comfortable.

We tested this position by using an orthotic device that was worn 24 hrs a day. After several adjustments to the orthotic, his symptoms were relieved and we were then able to go to final restorations in his comfortable bite position .

His symptoms were all relieved and it is this type of dentistry that makes going to work worthwhile, as we were able to relieve pain first and foremost and at the same time providing a smile makeover using the latest in restorative materials.
